The Royal War: Chess Reimagined

Designing and creating my own chess pieces involved countless hours of planning and meticulous craftsmanship. Designing my own chess pieces that conveyed the right design language was difficult in and of itself. But then taking that piece and transitioning it from 2D to 3D was a completely new story. I had to take the piece and spin it around in my head to envision a way to transform it from a drawing to a real piece. And as a result, this piece challenged my design skills and perseverance. Eventually, it all came together beautifully to create a beautiful twist to The Royal War.
