When I was younger, I was constantly bullied for my “huge” ears. They would call me things like “ Dumbo” or “ Poppy Ears”. So naturally, I began to hate my ears. But as I grew older, I began to realize something: Our senses are something that we take for granted. I was so focused on how my ears looked, that I didn't realize what they actually did for me. From absorbing knowledge to interpreting dangerous situations, my ears are much more than some floppy pieces of cartilage.
